Quality / Printing

   Cover Letter

My background includes serving as a Dimensional Inspector within both Receiving and In-Process environments. Most recently, I worked as a Receiving Inspector for Tejas Research and Development where my responsibilities included inspecting machined parts that were designed by Tejas engineers, received packages containing parts used for assembling tools, and arranging calibration for inspection gauges and transducers, used for pressure testing. I also entered data into a spreadsheet with specifications about parts received from vendors and communicated with vendors and engineers when parts were found out of conformance.
Previously, I worked as a Verification Inspector. In this position, I demonstrated the ability to resolve a variety of issues concerning quality within the company (such as non-conformances, due to procedures being performed incorrectly and obsolete documents being used). As an internal Auditor for the company, I consistently met my goals, handling an average of 5 to 6 findings per day.

In addition to this experience, I gained considerable Thread gauging skills during my employment at various manufacturing shops in the Houston Area.

I also bring to the table strong computer proficiencies in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint and am certified in forklift operation and Posses a Basic plus Safety Card.
Please see the accompanying resume for details of my experience and education.

I am confident that I can offer you the Quality Control Inspection and problem-solving skills you are seeking. Feel free to call me at 281-465-8708 (home) or 936-242-9083 (cell) to arrange an interview. Thank you for your time -- I look forward to learning more about this opportunity!

Sincerely,
