Stephanne Laviolette named Montgomery County Employee of the Year

Constable Precinct 4 awarded 2011 Department of the Year

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- Montgomery County recognized its payroll coordinator, Stephanne Laviolette, as the 2011 Montgomery County Employee of the Year. In the payroll position just a little over a year, Laviolette weathered the perfect storm, having handled every conceivable scenario with patience, perseverance, and professionalism, and thus deserving of the county’s highest honor.

Laviolette was presented the award, a dozen roses, and a gift card from Precinct 2 County Commissioner, Craig Doyal, and Karen Ladyman, chair of the Employees’ Committee. Doyal told the audience that Stephanne Laviolette was the “hands-down winner.” County Treasurer, Martha Gustavsen was quoted as saying, “She is an exemplary employee and a joy to work with!”

The 2011 Department of the Year went to Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden’s Precinct 4. The awards were presented at the annual Employees’ Christmas luncheon.
