Conroe fireworks set for July 3, 4

CONROE, Texas -- Last year's drought forced the cancellation of many area firework shows. This year, thanks to the rains, fireworks shows are lined up for 4th of July celebrations.

Walden and Bentwater will host a Conroe fireworks show on Tuesday, July 3.

The Lake Conroe fireworks, hosted by the Greater Conore/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce, are scheduled for July 4 beginning at 9:15 p.m. The show is expected to last for about 18 minutes. For those who are planning to attend the Lake Conroe fireworks show, locations along the south end of the lake are best.
