MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- Davam Urgent Care is proud to announce a $500 donation to Magnolia ISD benefiting Magnolia Cares- Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD.
The donation was raised through proceeds from child and adult flu shots during the month of November. Magnolia Cares was formed following Hurricane Harvey to help rebuild Little Cypress- Mauriceville. According to the Magnolia ISD website, “Magnolia ISD’s goal is to raise funds so the LCM administration can purchase items such as band instruments, athletic uniforms, and various equipment for the students.”
“Davam Urgent Care is pleased to partner with Magnolia ISD to give back to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey,” said Davam Urgent Care Marketing Director, Jackie Thrasher. “Since our opening in May of 2014, we have always looked for ways to give back to the local community. “
With the help of other local businesses, Magnolia ISD hopes to raise at least $50,000 to donate to Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD. In addition to supporting Magnolia Cares, Davam Urgent Care also sponsors the Magnolia ISD Student of the Month Program. Once a month at the Magnolia School Board meeting, two students are each given a $50 gift card for their hard work throughout the year.
