BRYAN, Texas – Ashton Harris fired a complete-game, four-hitter and the Conroe High School baseball team entered the win column in District 14-5A play on Thursday with a 5-1 triumph at Bryan.

Harris was in command throughout and though he struck out just two Vikings batters, he kept them off balance by getting ahead in the count.

The Tigers (6-12, 1-1) look to build on that when they host College Park at 7 p.m. Friday. Conroe is at Oak Ridge for a 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, game.

Chris Stevenson singled, doubled and drove in two runs to pace the Tigers’ 10-hit attack on Thursday. Connor Ontivarous, Alex Delos-Reyes and Seth Pettier each added two hits and one RBI. Austin Briggs and Cordell Vogel also contributed a hit apiece.

The Tigers broke a 1-1 tie with a four-run seventh inning.
