District 1 - Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)

Phone Cable Stolen

On June 9, a Theft of Copper was reported from the 13000 block of Creighton Road, in Conroe. About 400 feet of telephone cable was reported stolen. Felony charges are being investigated.

Vehicle Stolen

On June 9, a Theft of a Motor Vehicle was reported at the 15000 block of West Malibu in Willis. The Auto Theft Unit is investigating this case.

Motorcycle Stolen

On June 10, a Theft of a Motor Vehicle (motorcycle) was reported at the 3000 block of Highline Oaks, in Conroe. A 2007 Harley Davidson, pewter, valued at $25,000 was reportedly taken during the night. The Auto Theft Unit is investigating this case.

TVs Stolen from Resort

On June 10, Harbor Resort, located on Kingston Cove, in Willis, reported that several condos were burglarized and eight big screen type televisions were stolen. This investigation is currently underway. Detectives are expecting criminal charges to be filed in the near future.

Woman Arrested for Forgery

On June 10, Corporal Bagwell answered a reported Forgery call on Longmire Road, in Conroe. A woman, 33, was arrested and charged with nine counts of Forgery (State Jail Felony). Additional Forgery and Theft charges are pending and additional charges are expected.

Telephone Cable Stolen

June 11, a Felony Theft of Copper Wire was reported in the 11000 block of FM 1485, in Conroe. Approximately 300 feet of multi-pair telephone cable was stolen. The investigation is currently active.

Copper Gauge Wire Stolen

On June 12, a Theft of Copper Wire was reported at the 11000 block of Amber Park, in Conroe. Approximately 300 feet of #1 gauge wire was stolen from meter pole. The investigation is currently active.

Telephone Wire Stolen

On June 13, a Theft of Copper Wire was reported at the 15000 block of Highway 105 East. Approximately 60 feet of 600-pair telephone wire was reportedly stolen; valued at $10,000 to repair the damage. The investigation is currently active.

Stolen Car Recovered

On June 13, a Recovery of Stolen Vehicle was reported at Wiggins Road and Pigglet Road, in Conroe. A 2007 Nissan Altima, valued at $18,000, was found. The car was reported stolen from H.P.D. An investigation is underway by the Auto Theft Division.

Man Violates Protective Order

On June 13, a man, 52, was arrested for violation of a Protective Order after he went to the protected location at 11000 Paddocks Road, in Conroe.

Man Arrested for Drug Possession

On June 14, a man, 54, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance; State Jail Felony. The suspect is pending prosecution.

Public Intoxication Arrest

On June 15, a man, 33, was arrested at 11000 Underwood, in Willis, when he was found to be threatening others and being publicly intoxicated.

District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

Teen Girl Charged with Possession and Public Intoxication

On June 10, at 11:36 p.m., Dep. J. Hook and Cpl. J. Gonzales were dispatched to 12000 Sawmill Road in reference to a noise disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers made contact with several subjects by the pool. A female, 17, approached Cpl. Gonzales with a 12 oz beer in her hand and he could smell a strong odor of alcohol. The subject had red blood shot eyes, slurred speech and an unsteady balance. She was arrested and a search of her purse produced a baggy of marijuana, a smoking pipe and 8 Soma pills. She was charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug, class A misdemeanor, Possession of Marijuana, class B misdemeanor and Public Intoxication, class C misdemeanor.

Man Arrested for Prohibited Weapon

On June 10, at 11:18 p.m., Deputy A. Swank was dispatched to 3500 Rayford Road in reference to a man walking around with a rifle. Dep. Swank made contact with the subject and he advised that he was trying to kill a possum that had attacked his dog. A 45 caliber handgun was taken from the subject's waistband, along with an assisted knife that would open when pressure was applied on the handle. He was arrested for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, class A misdemeanor.

Man on Bicycle Arrested for Gun Possession

On June 15, at 5;50 a.m., Sgt. J. Jenkins observed a man riding a bicycle in the 3900 block of S. Panther Creek. The man had a difficult time riding the bike and was also unsteady on the bike. The man began to peddle very fast in an attempt to evade Sgt. Jenkins. The man took a gun out of the holster and tossed it into the grass and flipped over his bike and fell to the ground. The gun was recovered and the man, 20, was arrested for Theft of a Firearm, State Jail Felony, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, class A misdemeanor and Evading Arrest, class B misdemeanor.

DWI Arrest

On June 15, at 7:54 p.m., Dep. T. Ward and Dep. M. Uber were dispatched to Woodlands Parkway and Kuykendahl in reference to a woman causing a disturbance. The vehicle and driver were found and while interviewing her, Dep. Ward could smell the strong odor of alcohol. She admitted to having two (2) beers. Field sobriety tests were conducted and the woman, 22, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, class B misdemeanor.

District 3 - Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)

Woman Arrested with Meth

On June 9, Deputies J. Amstutz and C. Curry were dispatched to a welfare concern call in the 27400 block of FM 1485. Upon arrival, the deputies observed a woman slumped over in the driver's seat. During the ensuing investigation the deputies located 2.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine in the woman's possession. The 28-year-old woman from Kingwood was arrested at 10:02 a.m. and transported to jail.

Thief Arrested

On June 9, Dep. C. Azwell was notified of a burglary in progress in the 5700 block of Daw Collins Road. Upon arrival, Dep. Azwell met with a witness who had detained the male suspect who was seen loading property into his pickup. The owner arrived and identified the property as her own. The 35-year-old male suspect was arrested at 2:05 p.m. and transported to jail.

Teen Arrested for Home Burglary

On June 9, Deputies S. Ortiz and J. Bruce were sent to the 20800 block of Sheridan Heights Lane in reference to a burglary in progress. The deputies met with the owner of the residence. The deputies made entry and a female suspect ran. After a short run the deputies caught her. The suspect had ransacked numerous drawers. The 17-year-old girl from Porter was arrested at 2:30 p.m. and transported to jail.

Man Arrested for Stealing Re-Bar

On June 11, Dep. J. Howze met with Dep. P. Rex in the 18200 block of FM 1485. Dep. Rex was detaining a male suspect in a theft. The man had taken several pieces of re-bar from a construction site. The 47-year-old male from New Caney was arrested at 5:55 a.m. and transported to jail.

Intoxicated Man Arrested After Wandering onto Road

On June 11, Deputy A. White responded to the 24600 block of Loop 494 in reference to an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. Dep. White arrived and was able to locate the man stumbling down the road near Ford Road. The 42-year-old man from Joliet, Illinois, was arrested at 8:36 p.m. and transported to jail.

Intoxicated Man Arrested in Women's Room

On June 11, Deputies S. Ortiz and J. Bruce were sent to the 20400 block of Loop 494 in reference to a welfare concern. The deputies located an intoxicated man in the women's restroom of the business. The 27-year-old man from New Caney was arrested at 9:24 p.m. and taken to jail.

Man on Motorcycle Arrested for Evading

On June 12, Deputy J. Amstutz observed a man on a motorcycle traveling north on Hwy 59 at a high rate of speed and passing multiple vehicles in a no passing area. Dep. Amstutz went into pursuit of the motorcycle and finally stopped it in the 22200 block of Hwy 59. The 42-year-old man from Willis was arrested at 3:50 p.m. for evading and taken to jail.

Unlicensed and Uninsured Driver Arrested for Possession

On June 13, Corporal K. Hayden conducted a traffic stop on a man in the 21000 block of Punkin Street. The suspect did not have a valid driver's license nor proof of insurance. During the investigation, the man was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The 34-year-old man from New Caney was arrested at 3:30 p.m. and transported to jail. It was later found that the man had used a false name and faced an additional charge of failure to identify.

Man Arrested for Assault

On June 14, Deputy P. Rex was sent to the 21400 block of Cherry Street in reference to a burglary in progress. Dep. Rex met with the complainant who had been struck numerous times with brass knuckles and cut twice with a knife. The male suspect was on location and was detained. The suspect had gone to the residence, knocked and then forced his way in the door when he assaulted the complainant. The 28-year-old man from New Caney was arrested at 2:44 a.m. and transported to jail.

Intoxicated Driver Arrested

On June 14, Deputy C. Azwell was notified of an attempt to locate a possible DWI driver in the 17400 block of Hwy 59. Dep. Azwell located the vehicle and observed the driver unable to maintain a single lane and unable to control speed. Dep. Azwell stopped the vehicle and found the driver to be intoxicated. The 57-year-old man from Porter was arrested at 6:52 a.m. and transported to jail.

Intoxicated Florida Man Arrested for Disturbance

On June 14, Deputies J. Amstutz and C. Curry were dispatched to an intoxicated male call in the 20000 block of Hwy 105 East. Uponn arrival, the deputies observed a very intoxicated man that was cursing and causing a disturbance. The 23-year-old man from Lake Worth, Florida, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. and transported to jail.

Couple Caught Shoplifting

On June 15, Dep. C. Evans was notified of a theft at the Wal-Mart in Porter. Dep. Evans met with the manager, the security officer and the male and female suspects. The Deputy was advised that the store had video footage of the pair removing items from the store and passing all points for payment. The couple were video taped from several different cameras inside and going out of the store with stolen items. The items taken amounted to $3,177.57. The 23-year-old man and 25-year-old woman, both from Conroe, were arrested at 1:59 a.m. and taken to jail.

Warrants served:

On June 11, a 41-year-old man from Porter was arrested at 2:05 a.m. in the 18400 block of Choctaw by Deputy C. Evans for a blue warrant out of TDCJ. Dep. Evans had received information that the man was at this location.

On June 13, a 25-year-old woman from Porter was arrested at 2:30 p.m., in the 25300 block of Needham Road by Deputy J. Bruce for a possession of marijuana warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Bruce had received information as to the location of the woman.

On June 12, a 39-year-old man from Splendora was arrested at 4:31 p.m., in the 28100 block of May Road by Deputy R. Layman for a criminal non-support warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Layman was investigating a civil dispute.

On June 13, a 36-year-old woman from Cleveland was arrested at 8:00 a.m., in the area of Hwy 105 and Penny by Deputy R. Layman for a theft by check warrant out of Liberty County. The woman had been stopped on a traffic violation.

On June 13, a 35-year-old woman from Porter was arrested at 1:43 p.m., in the 23400 block of Hwy 59 by Deputy R. Layman for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County.

On June 14, a 33-year-old man from Splendora was arrested at 1:55 p.m., in the 23400 block of Hwy 59 by Deputy C. Azwell for a DWLS failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Azwell was investigating a disturbance call.

District 4 - Lt. Art Galloway (West County)

Auto Burglary

On June 11, Sgt. W. Hammons was dispatched to take a report on a burglary of a motor vehicle that had occurred in the parking area of a gas station on FM 1774. Sgt. Hammons met with the complainant who provided him with information and details for the report. The complainant was inside the station shopping when her car was burglarized. Items missing from the vehicle included a cell phone, prescription medication, her driver's license, and $80.00 cash for a total loss of $250. This case has been referred to detectives.

Auto Burglary

On June 12, Cpl. F. Webb was dispatched to S. Sulphur Creek in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival Cpl. Webb met with the complainant who stated that her cell phone (valued at $180) had been stolen from her vehicle. The complainant provided details for the report. This case will be referred to detectives.

Man Arrested for Family Violence

On JUne 13, Sgt. Hammons, along with Cpl. Wienke and Dep. Birch, was dispatched to an aggravated assault/family violence call. While at the scene, a male suspect was arrested and transported to the county jail in Conroe. This case has been referred to detectives.

Auto Burglary

On June 13, Dep. Kerr was dispatched to Seminole for a burglary report. When he arrived at the location he met with the complainant who stated that during the night time hours someone had reached inside his driver's side window (which was left down) and stole a Nokia cell phone and a black wallet from the front seat area. The value of the cell phone and wallet was estimated at $210.00. This case will be referred to detectives.

Copper Wire Theft

On June 13, Dep. D. LaSalle and Deputy T.R. Slusher were dispatched to Temple in reference to a burglary of a habitation, burglary of a building and theft of copper. When they arrived at the location they met with the complainant who stated that when he had arrived at his new rental home he discovered the electricity was off. Upon checking the reason for this he discovered that the copper wiring in the house and garage had been stolen. The wire had been cut from the breaker boxes in the house and garage to the utility pole. The estimated loss is approximately $800. Evidence was recovered at the location and submitted to the Montgomery County Crime Lab for processing. This case will be referred to detectives.

Jewelry Reported Stolen

On June 13, Dep. K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Quiet Forest in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, Dep. Krolczyk met with the complainant to obtain information for the report. The complainant stated that the last time she saw the rings in their box was when she had been packing for the movers. The rings were in a clear plastic box sitting on a shelf in her previous location, and the movers had been in and out of all rooms due to the moving of boxes and furniture. The value of the stolen jewelry is $6,000. This case has been referred to detectives.

Auto Burglary

On June 13, Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Castlebrook Ct. in reference to burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival, Dep. Krolczyk met with the complainant who provided information for the report. The complainant stated that she had left her vehicle unlocked overnight and left her purse in the vehicle. Someone had removed various items from her vehicle. The estimated amount of loss is $2,136. This case has been referred to detectives.

Truck Vandalized

On June 14, Dep. A. Gurka was dispatched to Lakewood in Pinehurst in reference to a criminal mischief call. Upon arrival, Dep. Gurka met with the complainant who provided information for the report. He stated that during the night time hours someone had broken the back glass of his truck. There was also a hole behind the driver's side seat and a dent on the roof of the truck over the driver's side. The cost to repair the damage is estimated at $350. This case will be referred to detectives.

Purse Stolen From Vehicle in Parking Lot

On June 14, Dep. D. Birch was dispatched to the parking lot of Royal Oaks Food Mart on FM 1488 in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, Dep. Birch met with the complainant who stated that when she went into the Food Mart she left her purse on the front seat and her vehicle unlocked. When she returned to her vehicle her purse was gone. The complainant provided Dep. Birch with information for the report (including a possible suspect). The estimated loss for the items that were in her purse (including cash) was reported at approximately $805. This case has been referred to detectives for follow-up.

Man Arrested for Family Violence Assault

On June 14, Dep. D. LaSalle and Dep. T. R. Slusher were dispatched to Aberdeen Dr. in reference to an Assault/Family violence in progress. When they arrived on location, the deputies met with the female complainant who provided information for the report. After leaving the complainant's residence, the deputies encountered the suspect in his vehicle driving on Dobbin- Huffsmith. They initiated a traffic stop and took the man into custody and transported him to the county jail in Conroe. This case has been referred to detectives.

Vehicles Damaged

On June 14, Dep. E. Hollan was dispatched to Travis in Pinehurst, TX regarding a criminal mischief report. Upon arrival, Dep. Hollan met with the complainant who provided information for the report. He stated that several men had come by his house (one on a bike and others in a white truck) and struck the windows of his two parked vehicles with pipes. The cost to repair the damage to the two vehicles (body and windows) is estimated at $2,000.00. Photos were taken at the scene. This case has been referred to detectives.

Jewelry Stolen

On June 16, Dep. J. Urban was dispatched to a burglary of habitation on Dundee. Upon arrival, Dep. Urban met with the complainant and she provided details for the report. The burglary occurred over the week-end while she was out of town. When she returned home she discovered someone had entered her home and stolen 2 pieces of jewelry valued at $2,575. This case has been referred to detectives.

District 5 - Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

Truck, Computer, Transit and Camera Stolen from Country Club

On June 9, at 7:20 a.m., Dep. R. Garlock responded to a Burglary of a Building call in the 100 block of Hillsborough, being the Bentwarter Country Club. Upon arrival, Dep. Garlock met the complainant who told him sometimes between June 8 at 9:30 p.m. to June 9 at 6:00 a.m. unknown suspect(s) drove either a four-wheeler or a golf cart through a chain link fence. Once inside the compound the suspect(s) entered a building through a window and stole a computer, digital camera , a transit and a 2003 four wheel drive Dodge Ram 1500 series pickup truck. The total loss of the property was $16,410. This case will be forwarded to the Auto Theft task Force for follow up.

Golf Cart Stolen

On June 13, at 11 a.m., Dep. Krolczyk responded to a Theft call in the 200 block of April Waters West. The complainant said he parked his golf cart in his driveway the night before and left the key in it. He discovered the golf cart missing the next morning. The golf cart was valued at $5,000. This case will be forwarded to the Auto Theft Task Force for follow up.

Evicted Tenant Steals Appliances

On June 15, at 12:13 p.m. Dep. Blackwell responded to a Burglary of a Building call in the 25000 block of Stone Court. The complainant said that she had been to court and had the tenant evicted on June 9. She went by her rent house and she found that the refrigerator, stereo system and three air conditioners were missing. The complainant said she believes the evicted tenant stole the items. The value of the stolen items was $1,750. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

Vehicle Burglaries

On June 13, between 4:55 p.m. Dep. Favorat responded to a Criminal Mischief call in the 17400 block of Calm Water Drive. The first complainant said unknown suspect(s) attempted to break into her vehicle causing $1,000.00 worth of damage. The suspect(s) did not gain entry. While at the scene a neighbor reported that unknown suspect(s) had made entry into her vehicle and stole $60 worth of gas. Both of these cases will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

District 6 - Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)

Shoplifting Arrests

During the week of June 10-16, District 6 deputies arrested 13 subjects for theft/shoplifting.
