ORIGINAL STORY:

SPLENDORA, Texas - A young couple, both 21 years of age, lost their lives to a drunk driver on Sunday, May 17, 2015, on Hwy 59 near Ipes Road in Splendora. The driver, Alejandro Guzman-Lopez, came at the Ford Explorer driven by Bradley Frazier at a high rate of speed, flipped the car, and then fled the scene. Lopez was captured and pinned down by a driver until authorities were available. Shea Frazier was killed on impact and Bradley died on the way to the hospital. Both the daughters, a 5-week old and a 2-year old, survived the collision unharmed in their safety seats.

Bradley was a volunteer for Splendora Fire Department through January 2014 and was a resident of Splendora. His family, friends, the East Montgomery County Fire Department, the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, Splendora ISD, Roman Forest Police Department, and Splendora Police Department will have a fundraiser to benefit the #FrazierGirls on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, at Splendora High School Football Stadium located at 23411 FM 2090 (77372).

Through the efforts of Charlie Diggs and Taylor Townsend, several local bands will be performing at the event. Brian Sacco, Jody Booth, and Josh Ward, will be playing throughout the day. Chopped brisket sandwich plates will be available for $10, and participants may pre-order briskets for $65 and ribs for $35, by calling Will King at 936.672.7099. Deadline for ordering is June 6.

Admission to the #FrazierGirls Benefit is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. There will be vendors, moonwalks, dunking booth, and silent/live auctions. All proceeds will go into a trust fund for the Frazier Girls at Woodforest Bank in Splendora. Donations can be made directly at the bank to Jill Frazier for the Frazier Girls. Please bring lawn chairs and blankets. All activities will be on the lawn or asphalt rain or shine at the stadium

Please contact Karma Parker at 832.318.2607 or email karmalea3@aol.com if you can provide items for the auctions or can volunteer. Interested vendors please contact Dawn Jaeger at www.jaegerdawn11@gmail.com.
