The paragraph about an 'anonymous' caller reporting that the Hoffman's had land in a secluded Moss Hill property is not exactly true. Many years ago the Hoffman's did lease some property in that location. There was a report of cattle being stolen from that property and it was investigated by Texas Cattle Association Special Ranger Jimmy Belt.

There were no allegations of neglect or abuse. That section of land is now owned by another individual. More recently, the Hoffman's had land leased off of CR 2070 in Liberty County. SPCA and LCSO Sgt. James Sprayberry investigated a complaint about horses being neglected at that location sometime around July 2014. Notices were issued and the Hoffman's were evicted from that property. They moved their operation to League Line Road in Montgomery County. Please advise how this investigation was 'swept under the rug'.
