Author Joy Saxton will be our special guest for Storybook Theatre on Friday, November 7, at 11:00am. As part of our Children’s Book Week finale, Joy will read Joy and the Far Away Land on stage at 11:00am. This is the first book in Joy’s enchanting series about her world travels, which aims to teach children the beauty of love, friendship, and diverse cultures. Based on Joy Saxton’s real-life adventure in another country, she tells about meeting a special friend and realizing how important it is for people around the world to love and understand one another. In addition, Joy will sprinkle in some magic and puppetry. Immediately following the reading, there will be a meet and greet, where Joy will sell and sign her books until 12:15pm.
