Apply for General Construction Field Technician (Commercial)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on General Construction Field Technician to support our commercial construction projects. This role is perfect for someone who isn’t afraid to get dirty, shows up on time, works safely, and takes pride in getting the job done right. You’ll assist with a variety of construction tasks and help keep job sites, equipment and warehouse clean and organized for daily operations.

What You’ll Do:
• Help with day-to-day commercial construction work such as demo, framing support, drywall, caulking, painting, flooring, and basic carpentry
• Assist skilled trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) as needed
• Load, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Keep the job site and equipment clean, organized, and safe
• Follow directions from the Superintendent or Project Manager
• Watch for safety issues and speak up when something doesn’t look right or is damaged
• Help meet project schedules and quality standards
• Pitch in wherever needed to help the project succeed

What We’re Looking For:
• Commercial construction experience is a plus
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work well with a crew and independently when needed with good manners and attitude
• Basic understanding of construction tools and materials
• Reliable transportation to job sites

Physical Requirements:
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, and working on active job sites
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Requirements:
• Commercial construction experience
• Ability to read basic plans or drawings
• Ability to understand and work according to OSHA safety standards
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record a must
