Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission announces Holiday at the Park on Dec. 20

CONROE, TX – The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission has announced that it will be hosting a special ‘Holiday at the Park’ event on Saturday, December 20, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park, 1776 Freedom Blvd. just off I-45 and FM 105 in Conroe.

“We would like to formally invite you, your family, and friends to attend this event and celebrate the Holiday Season!” said Elizabeth Woods, executive director of the commission.

At this event, which features free admission with a non-perishable canned good, attendees of all ages can enjoy meeting Santa, making s’mores, cocoa, a Holiday Cookie Walk, a festive photo booth, a walk through a lighted wonderland featuring lively carolers, and more.

Donations and other proceeds from the event benefit Meals on Wheels Montgomery County and Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park.

Additionally, the commission is seeking sponsors for this and other events it hosts.
