Family Promise of Montgomery County announces Annual Fish Fry and Toys for Cops collection, Nov. 14

CONROE, TX – Family Promise of Montgomery County invites the community to its Annual Fish Fry on Saturday, November 14, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the North Montgomery County Community Center, 600 Gerald Street in Willis.

Guests can enjoy a delicious fried fish meal featuring two sides for $15 per plate, with both dine-in and to-go options available. The event will also feature live and silent auctions, providing additional opportunities for community members to support local families experiencing homelessness.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy in support of Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable Philip Cash's Toys for Cops program, helping bring joy to local children in need this holiday season. Meals and auction baskets are generously provided by long-time Family Promise supporters, Steve and Cheryl Anderson.

Proceeds from the Annual Fish Fry will support Family Promise of Montgomery County's mission of helping families with children overcome homelessness and achieve sustainable independence through shelter, case management, life skills education, and ongoing support services.

“The Annual Fish Fry is one of our favorite ways to bring the community together for great food, fellowship and a shared commitment to supporting families facing housing instability," said Marilyn Kasmiersky, Executive Director and CEO of Family Promise of Montgomery County. "We are especially grateful to partner with Constable Philip Cash and the Toys for Cops program. Every meal purchased and every toy donated helps create hope and opportunity for families and children right here in Montgomery County."

Businesses and community members interested in donating auction items are encouraged to contact Family Promise of Montgomery County. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
