Sadler Clinic participates in Relay for Life events
CONROE, Texas -- Sadler Clinic is proud to announce that they participated in all 3 Montgomery County Relay for Life events and contributed over $8,000 to the American Cancer Society. More than 1.5 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed this year and Sadler Clinic was proud to once again join the American Cancer Society to help the fight against this deadly disease. Sadler Clinic’s team of physicians and employees participated in the Relay for Life of The Woodlands on April 13th and 14th, Relay for Life of Magnolia on April 27th and 28th, and Relay for Life of Conroe on May 4th and 5th. Sadler Clinic not only raised funds but encouraged patients, physicians, employees, friends and family members to join their team to walk in honor of those who have fought this disease with such bravery.
“The evening begins with a Survivors’ Lap celebrating cancer survivors and the important role of-caregivers. Each of this year’s area events had a substantial response; it was wonderful to see so many united to celebrate those who are winning the fight against cancer, “said Cathy Pierantozzi, four-year cancer survivor and Director of Human Resources and Marketing at Sadler Clinic.
“The Luminaria Ceremony was a touching tribute to remember those lost to this terrible disease and the Fight Back Ceremony rallied everyone to continue to take an active role in working together to battle cancer. This is such an uplifting event, and one that I would recommend that everyone touched by cancer-either directly or indirectly-participate in.”
The Relay for Life event represents hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
