LSC-Conroe to host free business success seminars

CONROE, Texas -- Lone Star College-Conroe Center, in association with Lone Star College Small Business Development Center and the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce, is offering three business success seminars that could improve your business’ bottom line — for free.

The Business Success Seminars will be held on three consecutive Tuesdays, beginning October 9, from 8-9 a.m., in the community room at LSC-Conroe Center. The topics include elevator pitches, Facebook essentials, and other ways to get noticed online. No pre-registration is required, and there will be door prizes at each seminar.

-Tuesday, October 9: 4 Ways to Get Found Online – Help your customers and prospects find you quickly and easily. Siva Yenneti of ITVibes helps you learn about services such as Foursquare, Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps, and local search engine optimization.

-Tuesday, October 16: The Hidden Power of the Elevator Pitch – Do you ever get frustrated because you’re networking like crazy, but not generating the interest in your products or services? Practice and master a short description of yourself and your business to captivate potential clients and customers with Terri Craig of MYMResults.

-Tuesday, October 23: Facebook Essentials for Business – During this hands-on session, Camille Hamilton of CMIT Solutions of Northwest Houston shows you how to master the use of Facebook with a tutorial designed to get your business maximum exposure using the largest social network in the world. The seminar will allow time to set up and/or work on your Facebook presence.
