Woodforest Charitable Foundation bestows grant for adult dental care

CONROE, Texas -- Evidence shows a that proper dental health can contribute to the overall health of the individual. Woodforest Charitable Foundation recently provided a very generous grant to support Adult Dental Care. The relationships between Lone Star Family Health Center and our friends and partners are critical to a healthy community.

Lone Star Family Health Center was formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2002 to strengthen, stabilize and expand patient access to affordable health care services in the Montgomery County area. Lone Star Family Health Center is the only Federally Qualified Health Center in this area; and one of the few Teaching Health Care Centers in the nation. Its onsite residency program has become nationally recognized for the development of well-trained physicians specializing in Family Medicine. Lone Star Family Health Center is staffed by board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners and resident physicians. The staff and leadership are committed to providing the highest quality care to all patients -- from prenatal and newborns to the elderly -- and serves as a medical home for ALL who seek care.
