MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- The monthly breakfast meeting of the Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4 at Eye Health Consultants, 1111 Medical Plaza Dr, Ste. 110 in The Woodlands, 77380.

Holly Price, events manager at Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation, will serve as guest speaker.

Price has more than 15 years of marketing experience. She enjoys her current position, because it gives her an opportunity to assist families affected by the trauma of pediatric cancer.

“Helping children and their families during this difficult time is truly rewarding,” Price said. “I know I am only one person with one voice, but every little bit counts!”

At the MCABW’s breakfast meeting, Price will share information about the Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation, which assists children under age 18 and their families who are facing the hardships of a cancer diagnosis.

Price will also explain the foundation’s programs, including the Helping Hands Fund, Bear-Able Gift Program, Camp Scholarship program and Toxic Free Kids.

Price said she looks forward to sharing the opportunities to give to the foundation with the members of the MCABW. She joined the group last month.

“The MCABW is a fabulous group to join because you are around empowering women who are willing to support one another in their businesses and personally as well,” she said. “I’m loving every minute of it!”

The MCABW is an organization that provides a forum for local businesswomen to develop and enhance professional and personal relationships with their peers. The group hol a breakfast forum the first Tuesday of each month, a mixer the second Thursday of each month and a monthly luncheon the fourth Tuesday of each month at Incredible Pizza in Conroe. Visitors are invited to attend two MCABW events before joining the organization.
