Ride Right Awarded $1.5 Million Transit Contract in Conroe

LAKE SAINT LOUIS, MO -- Ride Right, LLC announced today that it has been selected to operate the Conroe Connection fixed route bus and paratransit service for the City of Conroe, Texas beginning in January 2015. The three-year contract with two one-year options is valued at approximately $1.5 million over the course of the initial contract period. The Conroe Connection is a brand new service aimed at improving mobility within the city and connecting residents with jobs and job training, small local businesses, government offices, shopping, health clinics, restaurants, and other services.
Under the contract, Ride Right will operate the city’s four new 21-passenger buses Monday through Friday, excluding city holidays. Reservations for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit service will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Friday. Because it is a new service for the city, trip demand and annual volume is unknown.
