Head-on collision at FM 3083 & Old Houston Rd early Sat a.m.

CONROE, Texas -- An early morning head-on collision on FM 3083 at Old Houston Road, sent four to neighboring hospitals. The accident occurred just prior to 4 a.m. Saturday, January 24, after a pickup truck moved over into oncoming traffic, sending the driver to the hospital in stable condition, and the driver and two passengers of the car that was struck, were all sent to the hospital too.

An elevation in the pavement of the intersection may have been a contributing factor. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) investigated the accident, the results of which are still pending.

Drivers are forewarned about the unevenness of the road surface at this location, and encouraged to heed caution when driving through this area.
