Take a walk on the Artistic Side

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Spend the summer submerged in art at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. There are a variety of workshops for ages 4 to 10 designed to please those who like to paint, draw and sculpt.
For 4-year-olds, the museum will offer “A Box of Ideas,” which explores the creative process around cardboard boxes as well as “Stamp Your Art Out,” which encourages experimentation with handmade stamps. Other options include “Storybook Art” and “Young at Art.”
For budding artists ages 5 to 8, “ARTrageous Workshops” may be the key to a fun-filled summer. Enroll your child in “Art Around the World,” “Crazy about Cultures,” “Discovering Great Artists,” “Mask Mania,” “Paper Antics,” or “Scientifically ARTrageous.”
Sessions are available for morning, afternoon, or the full day with the “Lunch Bunch” option.
“We’ve created a full line-up of creative educational workshops this summer,” Angela Colton, executive director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum, said. “Children will enjoy exploring various media – and discovering new artistic inspiration.”
Located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, in The Woodlands, 77381, the museum offers educational exhibits, a full calendar of exciting activities and a cool space for creative play for ages 7 and under during the summer.
