Westbound Bank breaks ground on new Conroe location

CONROE, Texas - Westbound Bank, a commercial community bank headquartered in Katy, Texas, broke ground on its new Conroe location at the Northeast Corner of South Loop 336 West and River Pointe Drive on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

Set for completion in the fourth quarter of this year, the new 3,500 square foot location will operate as a full-service branch, featuring multiple teller stations, an onsite ATM and the added convenience of drive-thru banking. Westbound Bank decided to expand to serve the Conroe and Woodlands areas based on growth opportunities in the market. Westbound has added two new Senior Vice Presidents, Nick Davis and Tonya Weinzettle, who will be instrumental in providing the bank’s customers the advantages of market knowledge and personalized service that come with working with a community bank.

Westbound Bank is currently operating a Loan Production Office (LPO) in Conroe at 945 Sgt. Ed Holcomb Boulevard, from which it will continue to serve customers until the full branch opens later this year.
