Heaven’s Army of Resources receives 689 jeans from Woamtec Magnolia

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - Women on a Mission to Earn a Commission (WOAMTEC) of Magnolia, recently donated 689 pairs of jeans to Heaven’s Army of Resources to help students prepare for Back to School.
The WOAMTEC Foundation offered a Jean Drive Challenge May 15, 2015 - August 15, 2015, for all chapters nationwide, collecting jeans of any size, gender, or color to give to a charitable organization. This encourages people to be comfortable in their genes and embrace who they are. The chapter nationwide that wins the Jean Drive Challenge wins 2 free annual memberships, and every Chapter member wins a prize.
“We are very grateful and excited to be able to help so many young people get ready for school. What a blessing this will be to so many,” said LaNora Purvis, Executive Director of Heaven’s Army of Resources. “God bless you all!”
“The group really came together collecting jeans from community garage sales, personal closets, retail stores, and friends. This is our largest community event that gets all the members involved”, said Tonya Lavoie, WOAMTEC Magnolia Director.
