Montgomery County libraries accepting Toys for Tots donations

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- The library in Conroe kicked-off the holiday gift giving season with the Montgomery County Toys for Tots on Thursday, November 9.

This year marks the 70th anniversary for Toys for Tots, a nonprofit organization founded in 1947 to provide new, unwrapped gifts to children in need. With many local families affected by Hurricane Harvey this year, the need is even greater than usual in Montgomery County.

Toy donations will be collected at each of the 7 branches of MCMLS until Saturday, December 15, 2017. Donors can also provide a monetary donation at the Toys for Tots website in lieu of gifts.
