Chocolate Passion wins Best Breakfast honor

CONROE, Texas - The Conroe Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced that a local restaurant in Conroe, Chocolate Passion, has been chosen as the BEST in the category of Best Breakfast, by the Texas Travel Counselors during their 5 day study Tour of the Piney Woods and Gulf Coast Regions that was conducted October 17-22, 2010. The Texas Travel Industry Association sponsored this 36th Annual Tour that visited 11 cities, eating at 14 restaurants and touring 27 attractions.

Harold Hutcheson, Manager of the Conroe Convention and Visitors Bureau, will accept this award on behalf of Chocolate Passion owners Zulay and Terry Quinn, at the Texas Travel Counselor’s Conference in Arlington, Texas on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11:30pm- 1:20pm at the Arlington Sheraton Hotel – Champions Ballroom. Ms. Doris Howdeshell, Director of The Texas Department of Transportation Travel Information Division and David Teel, President of Texas Travel Industry Association will be presenting the awards on behalf of the organization.

Hutcheson says, ”I was very pleased to hear that out of all the cities where breakfast was served, that the Texas Travel Tour Counselors would pick our town’s Chocolate Passion. I knew they must have liked it because all of their thank you notes mentioned what a great breakfast they had.”

The city congratulates the owners of Chocolate Passions and thanks the Texas Travel Association for this recognition.
