Notice of road construction on Walden Road

WILLIS, TX -- Beginning Tuesday, September 6th, 2022, a road project will begin on Walden Rd from Highway 105 West to the entrance of Walden Subdivision. This project will include milling the road, rehabbing the surface, laying down new asphalt, and new stripping. The project will be a total of 2.63 miles and take 90 days to complete. No complete road closures are expected and there will be traffic control in place with individual lanes closed that are being worked on. Once complete, there will be a turn lane throughout except at the bridges with no raised median. Vulcan Materials Asphalt & Construction will be the contractor doing the work on the project.
