MCABW awards scholarship

CONROE, Texas – The Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) awarded one of their annual scholarships to Ashley Smith at the annual Oak Ridge High School Presentation of Awards ceremony Thursday evening, May 19, on the Oak Ridge High School campus.

A University Interscholastic League Scholar, Miss Ashley graduates Magna Cum Laude, and is also a member of the National English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Society, and has also won Advanced Placement Exam Recognition. In addition to receiving the MCABW scholarship, Miss Ashley also received the Kaitlyn Vallery Memorial Scholarship Kaitlyn’s Promise, John H. Trepicchio Memorial Scholarship, The Woodlands Kiwanis club Scholarship, The Woodlands Lions Club Scholarship, and the Texas A&M University Regents’ Scholarship.

Presenting the MCABW scholarship to Miss Ashley was Cathy Espey of the MCABW Scholarship Team. Board member, Janet Werner, was also in attendance.
