Job Description

Transfer technical information for power generation subsystem to technician and customer teams. Support technician team with parts sourcing for power general subsystem. Manage projects for power generation subsystem implementation and support including budgeting, reporting, and asset coordination, and support customer issues in the field. Ensure power generation solutions are implemented safely through short circuit studies, protection coordination, arc flash studies, power flow studies, grounding studies, and implementation of appropriate processes and procedures. Complete full functional checkouts of components and systems. Perform high and low voltage engineering designs for power generation commissioning. Implement electrical grid protection and automation. 50% travel required – primarily within TX but potentially in other states & Canada.

Skills Required

BA degree in Electrical Engineering, 3 yrs relevant exp; 3 yrs exp in an industrial environment with gensets, turbines, switchgear, transformers, AC/DC current, batteries, inverters, load banks & transfer switches; 3 yrs applied engineering exp in an electrical/automation field; 2 yrs exp working with EPLAN for cabinet & wire harness design; 3 yrs exp performing or providing input to arc flash & protection coordination studies using ETAP; 2yrs exp troubleshooting CAN, Modbus, & IP networking

Compensation:

$119,330 to $125,000/year
