Cold front to produce thunderstorms and temperature drop. The 83-degree temperature on Christmas day broke the previous record of 82 set in 1969, but winter will correct itself Sunday evening when the temperature will drop by more than forty degrees.
Montgomery County Sheriff's Office confirmed a tornado touched down in Willis at approximately 4:15 p.m. The point of touchdown was a fabrication company, Mueller Incorporated, located at 16361 Highway 75. Major damage was reported, but no injuries.
