HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers, in collaboration with the Houston Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Division, urgently seeks the public's assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a fatal Failure to Stop and Render Aid incident.

Reward of up to $5,000 leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in this case.

On Saturday, December 23, 2023, at approximately 6:56 p.m., a tragic incident unfolded in the 2700 block of Gessner Rd. in Houston, Texas. The victim, Rey Hernandez Velazquez, was crossing the roadway eastbound, was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound. Shockingly, the suspect(s) callously fled the scene without providing any assistance to Mr. Velazquez, who subsequently succumbed to major injuries sustained during the collision.
