WANTED: Help Find Justice for Joe Mendoza-May 4, 2025 Murder

HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division are urgently seeking the public’s help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Joe Mendoza.

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, at approximately 12:49 a.m., gunfire erupted in the 6000 block of Cherryhill Street in Houston, Texas. A disturbance escalated into chaos as more than 20 firearms were discharged in multiple directions, injuring several people. Amid the violence, Joe Mendoza was struck by gunfire and suffered grave injuries. Despite all efforts, Joe tragically did not survive.

Joe’s family is pleading with the community to come forward with any information that could help identify and arrest those responsible for his senseless killing.
