MONTGOMERY, TX -- September 10th changed everything. Charlie Kirk’s assassination on the afternoon prior to America’s Second day of Great Mourning, came as a great shock, that a man only armed with words can be brutally gunned down in public. And not only that, people, many with multiple degrees, who would openly celebrate his death on social media, while others would outright call for the death of other Conservative figures, and even worse, Kirk's own family. In the days following America’s loss, prayer vigils started cropping up all over the nation. A note from prolific emailer and President of the Montgomery County Historical Commission, Larry Forester, was sent out in reference to a prayer gathering at Montgomery’s Cedar Brake Park on the September 18th at lunchtime. Ron Loftin, a member of The Lone Star Cowboy Church, put out the word, and a group of God fearing folk showed up at the Cedar Brake Park Pavilion that Thursday taking time from their lunch hour, to pray for the soul of Charlie Kirk, welcoming him to the Right Hand of God, as well as putting in good words for the general good welfare of Our Nation.

It was an extraordinary meeting, just a small group of Montgomery area citizens all bowing their heads in the Presence of God, many being compelled to speak kind and soothing words in Remembrance of Charlie, and beginning to lay the initial cornerstones of Kirk’s Legacy, which is going to be big. There was praise for President Donald Trump, and his leadership; to take a Nation that less than a year ago was lost, and now has the leadership to Make it Great Again, and rise to heights never before seen or thought of.

“We come together as a community and Nation in the Eyes of God to ask for healing,” said Loftin. “And that Charlie Kirk’s sacrifice was not in vain, but a new awakening that will unite us.”

Loftin read several verses from 2 Chronicles, Psalms, and 1 Timothy, all meaningful in our current struggles as a Nation, yet offering hope that Our Land can rebuild from the scars inflicted on its person in the last ten years.

”250 years ago men who followed Our Savior, fought for Our Freedoms that made us a Great Nation,” said Loftin. “We can’t do anything without You Lord. It’s all up to you.”

Both men and women in the group spoke, offering individual prayers for Kirk, his Family, and his Turning Point Organization. And now that the deed is done, Charlie Kirk’s Legacy in death is going to surpass his Earthly mission by thousands if not millions of times.
