CONROE, TX -- Family Promise of Montgomery County has announced its Night of Promise Bowl Gala, set for Saturday, February 13, 2027, at Margaritaville Resort, Lake Conroe in Montgomery. The football-themed event, held on Super Bowl Eve, will begin with cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and will support the organization's mission of helping families with children overcome homelessness and achieve lasting stability.

Family Promise of Montgomery County continues its mission of helping families experiencing homelessness achieve lasting independence.

Serving as Honorary Chairs are McKade and Libby Mettauer. McKade Mettauer is a former NFL offensive guard for the Kansas City Chiefs, a native of The Woodlands, and a graduate of The Woodlands High School. McKade Mettauer is currently a Loan Advisor with True North Home Loans, a division of American Pacific Mortgage NMLS 1850, where he specializes in delivering clear, strategic lending solutions for buyers and real estate partners.

"We are honored to have McKade and Libby join us as Honorary Chairs for our Night of Promise Gala," said Marilyn Kasmiersky, Executive Director of Family Promise of Montgomery County. "Their connection to our community and passion for helping others make them a wonderful addition to this special event. We look forward to bringing our supporters together for an evening of fun, fellowship, and purpose."

"Success doesn't happen alone. Whether it is on the football field or in life, having the right support system can make all the difference," said McKade Mettauer. "That's what Family Promise provides for families facing homelessness. Libby and I are honored to support this mission and invite the community to join us for the Night of Promise Bowl Gala as we help families build a stronger future."

Family Promise of Montgomery County, a local affiliate of the national Family Promise network, has served families in the community since 2001. "We rely on the support of many organizations, faith communities, volunteers, and individual donors who help make our mission possible," added Kasmiersky. "This generosity allows us to provide the resources, guidance, and encouragement that families need as they work toward a brighter future."

Family Promise of Montgomery County engages the community throughout the year through fundraising events, partnerships, and volunteer opportunities that support its mission of helping families with children achieve lasting stability.
