MCEA inaugural garage sale promises Texas-size bargains

CONROE, Texas -- As the saying goes, “Everything in Texas is BIG,” and that certainly goes for Texas garage sales. Montgomery County Emergency Assistance (MCEA)will be having a BIG garage sale this Friday and Saturday, February 8 and 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at 1022 McCall Avenue in Conroe.

Margie Taylor, the Director of Marketing and Development for Montgomery County Emergency Assistance, that it will be a Texas-size sale with everything from heaven to amen...furniture, electronics, toys, seasonal items, housewares, and baby items. Clothing priced from $.25-$1.00!

“All sales will benefit the community, the MCEA programs, and the clients we serve, with rental and utility assistance, clothing, food, and prescriptions,” said Taylor.

MCEA is located behind the CVS Pharmacy at Hwy 105 and Dallas Street in Conroe. The Texas-sized garage sale will be held on both the front parking lot and the side of the building.

Taylor is encouraging residents to come out and shop to help others in the community. She promises BIG bargains, and said to bring your BIG Texas wallets.
