The Woodlands High School vs Katy 24-7

The Woodlands High School stunned last year’s state finalist by capitalizing on turnovers, and executing a balanced attack. Both schools are 2-1 at the end of week 3.

Oak Ridge vs Klein Forest 62-34

The Oak Ridge War Eagles aggressive offense resulted in multiple scoring opportunities beating Klein Forest at home. Oak Ridge has outscored its first three opponents 135-58, and is 3-0; Klein Forest is 1-2.

College Park vs Katy Taylor 13-14

The College Park Cavaliers lost a close one on the road by just a missed extra point. College Park is 0-3; Katy Taylor is 2-0.

Conroe vs Aldine 73-14

Conroe capitalized on nine Aldine turnovers, forcing some of them, to rout the Conroe Tigers over the Mustangs 73-14. Conroe’s record improved to 2-1; Aldine is 0-3.

Caney Creek vs Waltrip 50-16

Caney Creek trounced Waltrip scoring 29 points in the third quarter alone. Waltrip’s highlight of the game was a 78-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. This was Caney Creek’s first victory and is now 1-2; Waltrip is 1-2.

New Caney vs Porter 58 - 33

New Caney scored on five of seven first-half possessions, winning the annual Battle Line on 59 contest over Porter. New Caney is 5-0; Porter is 1-2.

Willis vs. Magnolia 18-14

The Willis Wildkats scored twice in the final 15 minutes to stun the Magnolia Bulldogs 18-14, in a non-district football game last Friday night. Willis had 294 total yards to Magnolia’s 240. Willis is 2-0; Magnolia is 2-1.

Splendora vs Shepherd 16-61

Splendora lost big against Shepherd’s crushing offense. Splendora is 1-2 ; Shepherd is 3-1
