First D.R.E.A.M. Job Fair in Houston
HOUSTON -- The Center will host The Beacon Group’s D.R.E.A.M. Employment Job Fair on Wednesday, October 15 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the United Way of Greater Houston. October is Disabilities and Rehabilitation Employment Awareness Month (D.R.E.A.M.) and it will be the first fair of its kind in Houston.
The Center’s Director of Business Development and the Community Relations Departments, Anne Marie Blacketer, noticed the amazing D.R.E.A.M. program in Arizona and knew it had to come to Houston.
“This is The Center’s goal,” Blacketer said with pride. “We want to get our individuals to a point where they can go out in the world, have a job within the Houston community, and thrive in this world independently.”
The purpose of the fair is to support, encourage and facilitate the Dream for a very important and powerful group of individuals. The Center, Houston is currently seeking program partners, corporate employment partners and speakers. Committed to attend are area employers Target, Mister Car Wash, Prince Foods and more.
Please contact Blacketer, ablacketer@thecenterhouston.org, to reserve your employer booth, program booth or speaker’s opportunity today. Space is limited and free, and we would love to have you be a part of the D.R.E.A.M.!
