New clubhouse planned for 55+ Bonterra at Woodforest

HOUSTON – Bonterra, the first 55+ community in Houston by Taylor Morrison, a leading builder and developer in North America, has unveiled the plans for its signature clubhouse amenity.

Designed for residents of Bonterra, a community that celebrates the excitement and vitality of great living for those 55 and better, the clubhouse will offer a place to meet, mingle, stay fit or simply sit back and relax. The facility is expected to break ground in spring 2015.

With a resident lounge and great room, a full fitness center and a number of planned amenities, the approximately 10,000-square-foot clubhouse is expected to include a coffee bar, event center and more, said Jim Ellison, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison’s Houston division.

“At Bonterra at Woodforest, we’re aiming to create a community that’s conducive to an active social lifestyle,” Ellison said. “This facility will be an addition to that philosophy that will be an ideal location for residents to meet up for a coffee or great conversation on the patio.”

The clubhouse will join a community that offers three distinct collections of homes. The 45-foot Landmark series, 52-foot Summit series and 62-foot Pinnacle series offer something for even the most discerning homebuyer. Prices start in the mid $200,000s.
