Conroe Knights of Columbus #6456 completes Sacred Heart demolition project
CONROE, Texas - The Conroe Council #6456 completed demolition and preparation for a new community center at Sacred Heart Church on N. Frasier St. Conroe TX. The demolition consisted of preparing approximately 5,550 square feet of an open multiuse room for church functions.

More than 25 Knights and their families participated in a two day demolition of the old Loan Star medical offices building on Metcalf St. Tasked by Sacred Heart Catholic Church Pastor Fr. Phillip Wilhite, Grand Knight, Dan Gregory lead the group of volunteers in removing walls, electrical and plumbing fixtures from the future multipurpose meeting room. The task of removing electrical and plumbing was assisted by Jeff Dupree and several licensed electricians who donated their time for a safe demolition. A total of 450 hours of volunteer time was dedicated to this project.
Project demolition has been completed well ahead of schedule for the second phase of the “new” parish offices and class rooms as well as the church community center facility. Dan Gregory was pleased at the participation from the Knights saying, “There must have been at lot of frustration released in this demolition project, we had no problem knocking down walls for what seemed like hundreds of rooms.”
