MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - The 2nd annual Montgomery County United Way Lone Star Leaders appreciation event was held on October 13th at Top Golf just south of The Woodlands. Lone Star Leaders are donors who have generously committed to a leadership giving level of $1000 or more a year.

Starting with a cocktail hour, guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres, catching up with friends and colleagues, and a look back through 60 years of the great work and people involved in Montgomery County United Way. MCUW President, Julie Martineau, delivered a message of gratitude and appreciation for the leader’s commitment to United Way’s mission of improving lives and creating lasting change all throughout Montgomery County.

As dusk settled, the neon lights came on, and it was time for some golfing fun. The evening continued with a buffet style dinner and delicious desserts. Groups and individuals teamed up to play together while some guests brought spouses and their children making it a family night at the driving range.

Montgomery County United Way is proud to partner with such charitable companies like Consolidated Communications, who so generously sponsored the event. Vice President of Consumer Products and MCUW Board Member, Rob Koester, along with several others representing Consolidated Communications, were on hand to join in the celebration.
