Freeze warning issued for Montgomery County

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning in effect from midnight to Monday, 7:00 a.m. CST. Protect pets, pipes, and plants.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HOUSTON/GALVESTON HAS ISSUED A FREEZE WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 7 AM CST MONDAY.

* EVENT...FREEZING TEMPERATURES WITH MINIMUM TEMPERATURES FALLING TO BETWEEN 28 AND 32 DEGREES.

* TIMING...TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BELOW FREEZING BETWEEN 2 AM AND 3 AM.

* IMPACT...A FREEZE WARNING MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE IMMINENT OR HIGHLY LIKELY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL KILL CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FREEZE WARNING MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE IMMINENT OR HIGHLY LIKELY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL KILL CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION.
