THE WOODLANDS, Texas – To help families achieve their fitness goals, The Woodlands Children’s Museum is hosting a week-long program called “Get Fit February.”

Informative presentations, activities planned for Feb. 15-20


The museum, located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, has a number of informative presentations and fun activities planned around boosting healthy lifestyles.

The programs include:

•Woodlands Family Chiropractor from 11 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 15

• Bollywood Dancing with Tripti from 11 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16

• Happy Family Brands by Jessica Ligon from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Feb. 16

• First Choice Ambulance and Josh “The Germ” from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Feb. 17

• Exercise Fun with Gold’s Gym from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18

• Children’s Yoga with Alyssa from 11:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Feb. 18

• Air Guitar with Taylor Fulbright from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19

• Mad About Hoops from 11 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19

• Kids in the Kitchen by Junior League from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 20

• NutriMen, crusaders in the war against hazardous food and habitual inactivity, at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20

Get Fit February events are included in the cost of museum admission of $5 per person 1 year and older.

“We want to make every effort possible to educate and empower children and their families when it comes to health and fitness,” Angela Colton, the museum’s executive director, said. “This fun week of work-outs and informative presentations will give families fun and easy alternative ideas on how to stay healthy all year round.”
