The only good snake is a live snake...Rattlesnake venom saves lives

CONROE, Texas - Do you hate snakes, especially rattlesnakes? Are you one of the millions that are afraid of them? If so, then we especially want to invite you to attend our event. Join us at the Lone Star Convention Center on March 12th and 13th and allow us to show you the values of these misunderstood animals. Hear about some of the amazing medical research being done with snake venom and how their venom is saving lives!

Texas Rattlesnake Festival is an educational event in which all animals are treated humanely and with respect. We will have children’s activities and multiple educators working throughout the facility. On display will be one of the largest collections of rattlesnakes under one roof.

Our activities and events are led by local teachers from the greater Houston area. We also offer presentations by some of the country’s most respected professionals in the reptile community (Dr. Elda Sanchez, Dr. Spencer Greene, Clint Pustijovsky and others).

Be on hand as Orry Martin, “Texas Snake Hunter” exposes the truth behind what really happens at some of the country’s Rattlesnake Roundups and the impact on our eco-system. Mr. Martin, a local biology teacher, has produced numerous educational independent films that can be seen on his YouTube channel.
