Join The Woodlands Children's Museum in a Celebration of Irish Culture

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – March 10, 2016 – Join The Woodlands Children’s Museum on St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate Irish culture and traditions with dance, music and art that’s all Irish-at-heart.
The St. Patrick’s Day Celebration is slated for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, at the museum located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280.The event is included in the price of admission, which is $5 per person 1 year and older.
The McTeggart Irish Dancers will kick-off the fun at 11 a.m., followed by Claude Sims, who will delight children with juggling and magic during performances scheduled for between noon and 2 p.m.
Guests also can help the Leprechaun find his Pot O’ Gold and hear his tales of Ireland during performances at 12:30 and 2 p.m. The celebration also will include a St. Patrick’s Day Parade and special Irish-themed art projects in the Muse.
“We always take the opportunity on St. Patrick’s Day to showcase Irish culture,” Angela Colton, executive director of the museum, said. “We hope the community will join us for this fun and educational celebration.”
