Celebrate National Grandparents Day at the The Woodlands Children’s Museum Sept 11

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Grandparents are invited to spend a day of play, learning and adventure at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. The museum will celebrate National Grandparents Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 11. Up to two grandparents per family will be admitted free of charge.
“We love welcoming grandmothers and grandfathers – and giving them the opportunity to share experiences with their favorite little ones,” Angela Colton, the museum’s executive director, said. “We invite the whole family to come out and discover how easy it is to show respect for grandparents by sharing just a little bit of time together on National Grandparents Day.”
The museum also honors grandparents year-round by offering them a special membership package. For a $66 annual fee, a grandparent gains free general admission for a year for up to four designated family members per visit. To take advantage of the Grandparent Family Membership, a member grandparent must accompany the children.
The Woodlands Children’s Museum is open seven days a week during the summer. Daily admission is $6 per person 1 year and older. The museum is recommended for ages 7 and under.
