Grow your small business with federal contracts

CONROE, Texas -- The Lone Star College Small Business Development Center is partnering with the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce to assist small-business owners secure federal government contracts.

“Many small-business owners might not realize the federal government awarded contracts worth $100 billion last year to small businesses,” said Miguel Lopez, LSC-SBDC executive director. “This seminar will provide tips to small-business owners and CEOs for getting approved, and they will be able to meet with experts who can advise them on their application.”

The free event takes place Wednesday, March 21 at the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce located at 505 West Davis St., Conroe, Texas 77301. Attendees are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m. with the presentation and individual meetings taking place 9-11:30 a.m.
