Conroe Connection Transit Suspends Fare Collection

Conroe, TX – City of Conroe Mayor Powell intends to ensure Conroe residents have a means of obtaining medical services during this pandemic. Mayor Powell is suspending Conroe Connection Transit fares on Fixed Route and ADA Paratransit service effective April 9th, 2020 and ending on May 1st, 2020 so citizens have free and accessible transportation to Conroe’s medical facilities. During the COVID-19 emergency Conroe Connection’s staff, operators, supervisors, and cleaners are taking precaution to protect themselves, each other and our transit riders.
The routes will continue to operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. For trip planning, call customer service at (844) 299- 6242.

Conroe Connection Transit (CCT) is a public transportation service provider in the Conroe-The Woodlands Urbanized Area. The City of Conroe supports CCT with staffing and funding from local, state and federal sources. CCT operates fixed bus routes that connect residents to housing, jobs, schools, services, medical offices and shopping throughout the City. The service also includes Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) complementary paratransit service within ¾ miles of the fixed routes. The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) operates the Conroe Commuter Connection on behalf of CCT from the Conroe Park & Ride to downtown Houston, Midtown, Texas Medical Center and at V.A. Hospital.
