Austin Man Pleads to 8 Year Sentence after Internet-Based Child Predator Investigation by Montgomery County Constable's Office and ICAC

WILLIS, TX -- In October 2021, the Montgomery County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) and the Montgomery County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office conducted undercover operations in Willis, Texas, which targeted internet-based sexual predators. During the undercover operations, Calvin Luther Chance III was arrested for trying to meet with an 8-year-old child after driving from Austin, Texas. The purpose of the meeting was to engage in sexual contact with the child. During the investigation, it was also discovered that Calvin Chance was in possession of child pornography. On March 22, 2022, Calvin Chance plead for 8 years in prison. Constable Cash is proud of the work ICAC does daily and is committed to keeping the children of Montgomery Safe from predators.
