WANTED: Whot hit and killed Wesley Smith?

HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.
On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at approximately 11:48 p.m., Wesley Smith was struck by an unknown vehicle in the 14300 block of Wallisville Rd. in Harris County, Texas. During the incident, Mr. Smith walking when he were struck by the suspect’s vehicle which was traveling eastbound. The suspect vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid. Mr. Smith suffered major injuries, and sadly died as a result of the collision.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a (black 2009/10 Chevrolet or GMC pick-up truck) with damage to the front left and missing the driver’s side window.
