WANTED: Who hit and killed Jamie Garza?

HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.

Reward of up to $5,000 leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in this case.


On Sunday, April 30, 2023, at approximately 8:58 p.m., the victim was struck by a vehicle in the 1600 block of Elysian St. in Houston, Texas. During the incident, Jaime Garza was riding his bicycle when he was struck by the suspect’s vehicle which was traveling north bound. The suspect(s) fled the scene without rendering aid to Mr. Garza. As a result of the collision, Jaime Garza suffered major injuries and died.

The family of Jaime Garza is requesting the community's help with identifying the suspect(s) responsible and recovering the victim’s bicycle which was taken from the scene.
