HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Special Victims Division need the public's assistance locating a fugitive (Kelwin Newman) who is wanted for Sexual Assault of a Child 14-17 and Indecency with Child (Sexual Contact).

Reward of up to $5,000 leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in this case.

On December 15, 2022, the Houston Police Department received a report of Sexual Abuse in the 600 block of Rushcreek Dr. in Houston, Texas. During the investigation, the victim made an outcry and detectives learned that the fugitive had sexually assaulted the victim.

Fugitive Kelwin Newman is a black male, 37 years old, 6’0” 250 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.
