WANTED: Who hit and killed Abera Hussien?

HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.

Reward of up to $5,000 leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in this case.


On Sunday, August 13, 2023, at approximately 10:02 p.m., Abera Hussien was struck by a vehicle in the 6800 block of Fondren Rd. in Houston, Texas. Mr. Hussien was crossing the road when he was struck by a (white pickup truck) which was traveling southbound. The suspect(s) fled the scene without rendering aid to. As a result of the collision, Mr. Hussien suffered major injuries and died.
