Gameday in Paradise- Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe

MONTGOMERY, TX -- Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe | Houston is bringing the excitement of college and professional football to the poolside with the launch of “Gameday in Paradise,” a season-long promotion that blends resort-style relaxation with big-game-day fun.

“After seeing how much our guests enjoyed watching the World Cup on the giant video board overlooking the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Pool, we knew we had to bring that same energy into football season,” said Jonathan “Cookie” Adams, recreation manager for Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe | Houston. “With ‘Gameday in Paradise’, fans can cheer on their favorite college or pro team while floating in the pool, sipping a cold drink and soaking up a resort-style game day experience.”

“Gameday in Paradise” will start Saturday, Sept. 5 and run through Sunday, Nov. 1 (weather permitting) with a rotating lineup of college and professional football matchups shown on the resort’s giant video wall.

Opening Weekend Schedule – Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026

• University of Houston vs. Oregon State – 11 a.m.

• University of Texas vs. Texas State – 3:30 p.m.

• Texas A&M vs. Missouri State – 6 p.m.

Weekend Two – Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026

• Texas A&M vs. Arizona State – 11 a.m.

• University of Texas vs. Ohio State – 6:30 p.m.

Professional Football Kickoff – Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026

• Houston Texans vs. Buffalo Bills – 12 p.m.

• Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants – 7 p.m.

The resort is also offering several gameday perks, including:
